Dr. Lim was born and raised in southern California. She attended the University of California, Irvine, and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2004. She stayed at UC Irvine and obtained a dual MD/MBA degree while also being inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical society and the Beta Gama Sigma honor society. Thereafter, she completed an internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. She then completed her residency in ophthalmology at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Prior to coming to Eugene, Dr. Lim was a clinical assistant professor of ophthalmology at the University of Texas, Houston. While there, she taught surgery and clinical skills to residents in ophthalmology at Lyndon Baines Johnson Hospital, one of Houston’s two major county hospitals. She also started a new satellite clinic for the University Eye Associates.

Dr. Lim is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Lane County Medical Society.

Dr. Lim performs surgery at the Oregon Eye Surgery Center and Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend. She sees patients at our downtown Eugene, Springfield, and Florence offices. Dr. Lim enjoys providing comprehensive eye care including cataract evaluation and surgery, glaucoma evaluation and treatment, dry eye treatments, refractive surgery evaluations and much more.

In her free time, Dr. Lim likes spending time with her husband, Marc, watching reality home and property shows, and staying active. She is also a photography enthusiast who enjoys capturing Oregon’s unique beauty.
